1. How did you find out about CVSC?

My co-worker and friend Karin Kettenring (my trail running partner in the shades) told me about it. She warned me that you had to be 'all in', so I waited a little while until I was sure I could make it a regular part of my routine.

2. What is your favorite exercise or workout?

I have a complicated relationship with burpees.....

3. How long have you been a member at CVSC?

Seven years, and I've never looked back (even now that I'm doing the unthinkable and waking up before 6:00am to fit in my gym time)!

4. What do you do for a living?

I'm a professor at USU. I'm an ecologist so often my work has me doing what looks a lot like kettlebell farmer carries, only with much more awkward loads and in the middle of the desert.

5. What are your hobbies?

Traveling and all kinds of outdoor recreation

6. What are your goals?

To still feel this good in 20 years, hopefully much longer. And keep up with my kids.

7. Why do you train?

It makes me feel strong and healthy. All the core work has eliminated my back pain and made me a stronger runner. And I think that training throughout two pregnancies in my 40s is how I bounced back so fast (for an old lady anyway)

8. Any advice for future members?

Regardless of your fitness level right now, just go all in (whatever that might look like for you). CVSC and its trainers are the best, and you won't regret it.

1. How did you find out about CVSC?

I heard how great it is from my friend Keisa, she has been coming for many years and she was right!

2. What is your favorite exercise or workout?

Favorite lifts are hang power clean and dead lift. My favorite workout is all of them AFTER I’ve finished them.

3. How long have you been a member at CVSC

I have been coming for 3+ years

4. What do you do for a living?

After owning a pet grooming business for 28 years I retired 5 years ago. Retirement is awesome!

5. What are your hobbies?

I like to hike, bike, ski and kayak. My favorite thing is hanging out with my grandkids.

6. What are your goals?

My goals are to stay active with good mobility and strength as the years creep up on me.

7. Why do you train

I train so I can keep a active lifestyle I don’t want to be on the sidelines while my kids and grandkids play, I want to be part of the action.

8. Any advice for future members?

My advice would be you need to give this gym a try! The coaches and members are awesome, this gym is for everyone no matter what your fitness level is. You might surprise yourself with what you can accomplish.
