1. How did you find out about CVSC?
About 16 years ago, I was out "yogging" in the neighborhood and Jami Palmer, a former co-worker who shared my appreciation for health and fitness, was driving by and she rolled down her window and drove beside me while she told me about this new program she was doing and that I should try it because I would love it. I was nervous to try something new, but a few months later, on Superbowl Sunday, another friend told me she was going to CVSC to workout before the game and she took me with her. And I was hooked after that first workout.
2. What is your favorite exercise or workout?
I dig a good old 'chipper' with some thrusters, burpees and barbell cleans sprinkled in.
3. How long have you been a member at CVSC?
A little over 15 years.
4. What do you do for a living?
I am the Finance Director for a local company that manufactures measurement instrumentation.
5. What are your hobbies?
Spending as much time as possible in the outdoors skiing, camping in our truck camper, gardening, watching live music and spending time with family.
6. What are your goals?
Don’t weaken. Be a participant and not a spectator in life. Maintain my health and well being so I can better support my family and community.
7. Why do you train?
I train so I can keep my mind and body strong to allow me to continue doing the things I enjoy. I choose to train with CVSC because the community is special. I’m always in a better place after spending time at CVSC.
8. Any advice for future members?
Step through the doors and you will find immediate support. Trust the programming. It won’t take long to find that CVSC becomes something you look forward to as the best part of your day!
